Staying at the Three Shires Inn was an absolute delight! Nestled in a picturesque valley, this charming inn offers breathtaking views of the Langdale Pikes right from your window. The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a lovely en suite and all the necessary amenities-you can tell it's run by passionate owners who genuinely care about their guests' experience. The food was a true highlight; I savored both breakfast and dinner, enjoying a thoughtful menu laden with local produce that delightfully catered to various dietary preferences. Plus, with the added benefit of dog-friendly accommodations, my two pups were more than welcome to join in on our retreat. After a day of exploring, the cozy lounge with its inviting atmosphere offered the perfect spot to unwind with a great local beer from one of the many nearby breweries. It was an uplifting experience and a fantastic base for walking through the stunning Lake District-so much so that I can't wait to return!
